2nd PCP WISE Webstival

webinar

26 May 2026 09:30 to 31 October 2026 11:00 (Paris time)

The PCP WISE 2nd Webstival (May–October 2026) is a 6-part webinar series guiding stakeholders from procurement to implementation. It explores innovation in climate-resilient water management, fosters buyer–supplier collaboration, and supports scaling, policy uptake, and long-term impact across the European ecosystem.

Events

Webinar 1: From Call for Tenders to PCP Implementation
26 May 2026 09:30 to 11:00 (Paris time)
Following the completion of the PCP WISE call for tenders, the project is entering a key transition phase towards implementation. Communicating transparently about the procurement journey and its outcomes is essential to maintain stakeholder mobilisation and prepare suppliers and buyers for the upcoming R&D phases. This webinar will therefore focus on telling the story of the PCP process, from challenge definition to evaluation results, while highlighting key lessons learned and outlining the roadmap for implementation.

Webinar 2: Technology Foresight and Innovation Pathways for Climate-Resilient Water Management
17 September 2026 09:30 to 11:00 (Paris time)
This webinar aims to explore emerging technologies and trends relevant to climate-resilient water management, providing suppliers with strategic insights to better position their innovations within the PCP WISE challenges. It will also strengthen connections with the wider European innovation ecosystem by showcasing relevant foresight initiatives, R&I projects, and platforms. Finally, the webinar will support innovation readiness by translating foresight findings into practical implications for PCP design, solution development, and future market opportunities.

Webinar 3: PCP Implementation : how to involve and engage end-users and citizens?
27 October 2026 13:30 to 15:00 (Paris time)
This webinar will explore how end-users and citizens can be meaningfully engaged throughout pre-commercial procurement (PCP) implementation, from identifying needs and defining requirements to solution development, testing and adoption. Drawing on PCP WISE’s co-production methodology, insights from its EMS2026 conference contribution on demand-driven climate services, and practical lessons learnt from three other Horizon Europe PCP projects, the session will bring together public buyers, procurement experts and innovation practitioners to discuss the legal framework, effective approaches to user engagement, and the challenges and success factors involved in integrating end-user needs and feedback into innovative solutions. A panel discussion will further explore how coproduction can build trust, improve usability and support the adoption of solutions that respond to real-world needs.
